The Manager of the Week for Gameweek 3 takes the honour thanks to a few outstanding performances and an inspired choice of captain.
Oliver Dormer’s team, Big Boy, amassed a stunning 77 points - well done Oliver!
Joe Lewis | Aberdeen | 5 points
The Aberdeen stopper played a big role in repelling Hibs for a large part of the match. Despite conceding a late equaliser, the keeper’s inclusion in the Terrace Team of the Week means precious extra bonus points.
Steven Caulker | Dundee | 2 points
Just a couple of points for the Dundee man as part of a wayward defence, suffering a 1-0 defeat at St Johnstone.
Connor Goldson | Rangers | 1 point
His slip lead to the Motherwell opener, and after Rangers proceeded to concede two more it’s just a solitary point for the defender.
Kieran Tierney | Celtic | 6 points
Celtic eventually broke down Hamilton at Parkhead and, although another member of the Celtic back line stole the headlines, a solid performance and clean sheet means six points for Tierney.
Gael Bigirimana | Motherwell | 11 points
The midfielder’s wicked set piece delivery caused problems for Rangers, creating the second and crucial third goals for Well.
Liam Craig | St Johnstone | 3 points
St Johnstone’s professional home win produced clean sheet points for the experienced midfielder.
Tom Taiwo | Hamilton | 2 points
Well-organised and stubborn, Hamilton still couldn’t quite keep Celtic at bay. Playing the full 90 minutes and conceding, Taiwo takes two.
Stephen Mallan | Hibernian | 1 point
With Hibs conceding against the Dons and Mallan picking up a yellow card, it’s just a single point for the midfielder.
Kyle Lafferty (captain) | Rangers | 26 points
The Northern Ireland striker scored a brace in his second debut. Considered a Hearts forward until the last day of the Fantasy Fitba transfer window, it allowed Oliver a second Rangers player in his squad. As his captain, it was a huge 26 points for Lafferty.
Kris Boyd | Kilmarnock | 2 points
Last season’s top scorer in the league, Boyd lasted 68 minutes without a goal in Killie’s 1-0 defeat at home to Hearts.
